LET'S TALK ABOUT HAIR: feat Honeycombe Hair Extensions

Hair is so important.

It is a reflection of our identity; it is both personal and public.

Just like your eyebrows shape your eyes and face, Having amazing hair, either short or long, does make an unbelievable difference to your overall look!

You all know I do love long and thick hair, whilst my hair is long, being blonde it is not a thick as I would like, i love very thick hair! That's why I have been working closely with Alison from Honeycombe Hair Extensions who has helped create extra length and volume for my overall look.

I can always rely on Alison to do an outstanding job.  She is a genuine specialist who sources great hair and custom makes wefts for her clients.

For anyone wanting hair extensions for the first time it is so important to choose a qualified extensionist who has a hairdressing background. Too many times I see women with nasty hair extensions hanging out of their hair.

Alison takes the time to test and understand your individual hair - scalp, strength of hair,  growth patterns and many other things which are important in order to avoid damage to your scalp and hair.  Being an experienced hairdresser, she knows exactly how to distribute the extension weight to make sure you feel comfortable.   This is important because you don't want headaches or to damage your natural hair.

A TURKISH ENCOUNTER - MAVI JEANS

#MAVIMEANSBLUE #TURKISHENCOUNTER #MAVIAUSTRALIA

Jeans don't need to be over-styled, of course they can be for certain occasions, but to make an outfit complete if you're like me, jeans are very much a hit or miss if they are not, well...comfy!

And finding comfy jeans has always proven to be an epic failure for me. (Especially finding a pair i would opt to wear every day instead of slipping in to a shift dress, gym gear etc.)

That is of course until i tried this new pair of MAVI jeans from the MAVI Autumn/Winter 2014 collection!!

I havn't taken them off (well wanted to take them off) since trying them on for the first time!

I've always been secretly jelous of those women you see on films or celebs that seem to rock blue jeans and a white shirt so well.. and now i finally feel like I'm that women and I'm eager to share with you all my great find!

I love the dark blue denim wash in these ALEXA Deep Gold Reform pair of MAVI jeans (I'm pictured wearing above ) as it makes for the perfect jean to be wearable both day and night, whilst still looking so effortlessly chic.
They are super stretchy too so there is no need to worry that you will feel restricted or uncomfortable in this pair of jeans. You can sit down in them without awkwardly having to dip in to you chair, kneel on the ground because they're too tight or you're about to bare all (trust me i proof tested this as you can see in my pics above).

Comfort and style are ultimately what i'm after and i'm stoked i've found both of these benefits in my new pair of MAVI jeans.

Outfit details in this post:
Jeans: Mavi
White Blouse: H&M
Cape/Jacket: Bebe Sydney
Bag: Givenchy

A little background on MAVI and their A/W14 Collection:

Originating from Istanbul Turkey, MAVI's philosophy is about creating the perfect fitting jean that is of high quality.

MAVI's new Autumn Winter 2014 Collection (that was shot on location in South Coogee, Sydney Australia) infuses Mediterranean detail with high quality denim, giving an exotic twist through great washes to a denim jean.

The campaign concept was built on the true origin of the brand name, meaning BLUE in Turkish

The A/W14 campaign goes largely back to true indigo denim with new technologies in fit retention and vintage finishes including whiskering & abrasion.
